Only a few days ago, my FiOS tv dvr captured an episode of FantomWorks called “Thunder Time” season 4…episode 4. It is about the resto-mod of a 56? T-bird where the owner was a 6ft + driver. Since he presented as having a warehouse full of money, Dan Short had the guys cut the seat frame below the level of the transmission tunnel which looked as it it was lowered 2” with a bit of a hump now placed over the tunnel since the seats were so low. It allowed a huge amount of headroom and lap space. That seems to open up the car to a host of taller owners…( with a big bankroll I’m sure )
