Make sure the trunk light is actually turning off.
 
I pulled the trunk light out. Still drains.


Hello, my battery still drains even with the hardtop off.
This topic has been discussed at great length already. Your best bet is to start on post one in this thread and the one below and read each post. For example, one owner found out burned-out map lights were their problem because the map lights were turned on but the bulbs were dead so he didn't know.
