Wes:
Ours were built the same day and we both have Ohio connections. Mine's black, yours??

George, Torch Red, White Hardtop, Black Interior.

You mentioned before in an early e-mail you have lived in Solon, Ohio back in the 70's. I currently live in Orange Village, Oh which is right next to Solon.
Funny, how are paths cross

George, What other cars do you own or hobbies ? Trying to see if there is a connection here. I gather from all your responds to this forem that you are retired now and love the computer.

Hi Westash, Nice color combo! I lived in Chagrin Falls, not far from you and I worked in Solon. We had a new building built there, across from the large freezer plant. I forget their name but it's a famous food supplier. At that time I worked for Addressograph-Multigraph, which is today AM International

Then you posted:

My other cars are Caddies, both 2010's, but before I had the 2002 TBird, I had a 1941 Ford Woodie and a 1956 TBird. The Woodie I had for 35 years and the Coral TBird for 18 years. I do miss them
Over the years I have had other antiques; '30 model A 5 window coupe and a '31 Roadster, a '41 Packard, a '77 Datsun 280Z I sold 2 years ago and a 1964 Honda Bermuda bike I still have. Other than that only new iron today
The only other hobbies, I have a rather extensive train set up in the cellar and during the summer I love lawn and garden work.
Amazing what we find out about someone on the web, Huh?
HAPPY EASTER

Thanks for the History

Quickdraw,
Thanks for the info. I knew it had orginially come from a dealer in Nevada and was purchase by an individual from Georgia at a Nevada Auto Auction in 2008. But I had no other knowledge. Thanks again.

Sorry Bill, I had overlooked this post...

Sold Date: 3/13/2004
Sold BY: Haldeman Ford, East Windsor, NJ
Invoice: $38,386.57
Greg is going to hate me for telling you this but your premium 2003 MSG, MSG hardtop, partial saddle interior, SST, 7 spoke chrome wheels, no supplimental parking lamps is one of only 25. The lack of the supplimental parking lamps really cuts down on the number of duplicates.

Two more

Harry, I added this WW last year: 1FAHP60A93Y111765 and would like your info on it. I am picking up a PCR next week in FL and would like your info on it: 1FAHP63A54Y107337 It is 101 of the 1,000. This will make six, next year I may try for a Cashmere.
NM - 100190
007 - 106016
PCR - 107337
Cashmere - TBD
Thanks,
Ron

Ron,

You might think that this 2004 PCR is one of 1,000 but I know how you like to have low volume cars so if we consider that 5 PCRs did not have supplimental parking lamps (they were Canadian PCRs), and that this car was NOT equipped with the front license plate holder you've got one of 336. However if we consider that this car was ordered for dealer stock (as opposed to ordered by a customer, or lease plan, or one of several other type orders) this car is actually one of only 306. Or that it was made for, and delivered to, Michigan it's actually one of only 30. <grin>

Harry, you have me hooked, Dot had mentioned some info on my Inca Gold, but will you give me your break down on it the NM and the 007? My lady friend and I try to drive a different one every two weeks or so. We are taking the Inca Gold to Pikes Peak, since Dot is not bringing hers.

Ron,

Order Date: 9/15/2000
Date Built: 7/25/2001
At Dealer: 10/1/2001
Sold Date: 10/1/2001

All 200 had the front license plate holder - they were even sent to states not requiring it.

106016 (007)
Order Date: 1/24/2003
Date Built: 2/19/2003
At Dealer: 3/6/2003
Sold Date: 7/1/2003
Sold BY: Ford Of Montebello, Montebello, CA
Invoice: $40,631.22

Your 007 had a front license plate holder (193 did not), you did not have an engine block heater (78 did), three 007s did not have the supplimental parking lamps - so your 007 is one of 426 made like this.

If you gave me your Inca VIN I can't find it....

1FAHP60A45Y109330
Order Date: 5/6/2005
Date Built: 7/1/2005 (last official day of Thunderbird production)
At Dealer: 7/12/2005
Sold Date: 9/29/2005
Sold by: Bill Jarrett Ford-Mercury, Avon Park, FL
Invoice: $39,966.55

Your 2005 Premium, Inca gold body and hardtop, white interior, SST, 7 spoke chrome wheels is one of 13. However of the 82 Inca golds made only 55 had the inca gold hardtop, three did not have the supplimental parking lamps (yours did), 28 did not have the front license plate bracket (yours didn't), 69 Incas were ordered for dealer stock (as was yours), and yours was one of 33 Incas made for the Florida market. Factoring in these extra details your Inca is one of only 3. But of those three, yours was the only one built on 7/1/2005 (the last official day of Thunderbird production) - so.... yours really *IS* one of a kind.

And with as many retro birds as you own I think I can safely say YOU are one of a kind!

So, is there another Inca Gold VIN higher than mine, or is mine the last one?

So, is there another Inca Gold VIN higher than mine, or is mine the last one?

No, yours is the highest VIN for any inca. As a matter of fact there were only seven 2005 Thunderbirds of ANY color with a higher VIN than yours. VIN 5Y109337 was the highest Thunderbird VIN, and this silver car was the last Bird built, and went into a Ford Family collection.

Are you the original owner of this Inca?

Harry,
I am the second owner, I looked at this car in May, 2009 when it was for sale by the owner up in Virginia. He had moved from Florida and did not have a garage any more. The car needed cleaning and he wanted way too much for it. I passed and kept looking. Four months later, I had been to look at a cashmere in Kentucky, but it did not have the plaque in the glove box, so I passed. I came home and went back to Autotrader to see if there was any thing new. There it was, just posted that Saturday afternoon at Ronnie Thompson Ford in Ellijay, Georgia. I was not sure it was the same car and I could not figure out how it had gotten from East Virginia to the mountains of north Georgia. Turns out the Inca Golds owner's father was married to the mother of Ronnie Thompson, owner of the Ford dealership. They were step-brothers. I called at eight o'clock on Monday morning and put a deposited on the car. It was cheaper than when I tried to buy it the first time and it had been cleaned and detailed. It is the same quality as the NM, and the VMG, so I am very pleased with the purchase. Thanks for all the great information. Are you retired from Ford?

It sounds like you were meant to have this car... Yes, I retired six years ago after 46 years with Ford (in Chicago).
