Hardtop in trunk- 2005?

And I don’t recommend the hanging method of storage either. That’s how mine warped. It was up there for a little over a year. Not sure how long it took to warp, but it wouldn’t seal. Had to throw it away. No body shop had any idea how to de-warp it.
First mention of warping the top due to hanging. . . Most others swear by it.

I’m sure it may be OK, just don’t know how long for sure. I now have a hardtop stand. Won’t be taking chances.

I don't have my car delivered to me yet,so this is probably a dumb question, but would the hardtop fit in the trunk? all the way closed or partway with bungi cord holding down trunk lid?
I don't have a garage my hardtop is in my bedroom. So no it doesn't foold up. Will be delivered with it on and is a 2 person job to take on and off, I think I read 90 pounds.
