Thank you. I had heard of "power braking" before, but didn't know exactly what the technique consisted of. If I had grown accustomed to doing this as a teenager, I might be less reluctant to try it out on a $40,000.00 car now. Never had to learn it with that old Ford. Your detailed reply should (there's a carefully chosen word) be sufficient to satisfy my curiosity.
