I just trailered home Wednesday a 2005 T-Bird 50th Anniversary that was willed to me by my Dad. I was humbled by his generosity. The car has 26,600-some miles on it - all original down to the tires. He had not driven it for easily 5+ years. Always garaged.

The thing is loaded with electronics, all of which I think are standard, like 6-disc changer and the accessory that allows you to control garage door openers and home lighting (forget the Ford name for it). I am still trying to learn how to operate it all. Don't know a whole lot about the car yet, just glad it made the 650-mile trip OK.

I also wondered what the last VIN vehicle number was of 2005 production. I know that was the end of the line for T-Birds. Be neat to know where my car was in the production sequence. All help with dealer cost, production numbers and anything to look for as options, etc., is definitely appreciated! I plan to hang on to this for at least another 20 years (good Lord willing) and keep it low mileage. Then I can will it to someone else!

Not sure where the delivery date you have came from.... there were 1,550 2005 Thunderbirds built before your 9/7/2004 build date, 55 Tbirds built the same day as yours, and there were 7690 Thunderbirds built after the day yours was built for a total of 9,295 of the 2005 Thunderbirds built. The highest VIN number and also the last built was 1FAHP60A75Y109337. Automobiles are not built in exact order of the VIN but this very last one went to the Ford family and the Wixom Assembly Plant made sure it was the last one off the line. Good luck with the car!! THANK YOU, QUICKDRAW! I'll be in touch for the window sticker, since I could find no sales docs with it, and that was disappointing. Not new to Fords, as I own a 1969 Fairlane coupe and a 1969 Ranchero. Interesting note, the car was towed home by my factory ordered 2001 F150 with Ford tow package (probably a 1 of 1 the way I ordered it) and 193,6XX on the clock at the start. The truck pulled like a dream and burned just 1/2 quart of oil for the 1,300 mile round trip.
 
Thanks again, Quickdraw! All I had to do was ask, and my window sticker will soon be on the way! As I mentioned, I own classic Fords and it has cost me money to get the information for those that you provided for my T-Bird just for the asking. And yours is more detailed! I appreciate you!

I think I sent quickdraw a message, but I'll try again my 2002 Thunderbird VIN# 1FAHP60A82Y100464 may not be rare, but has over 144200 miles on it. THAT'S RARE! Frank McGrath (Hate this Ford)

I do not have data from the approximate 4,000 Ford dealers on what they may have done after they got the car. I only have data for the way Ford built the car and it left the Wixom factory with a white hardtop.
